Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your account in the Curcuna mobile app and the data associated with it. The app is developed by, and your data is controlled by, Muhammed Enes Yüksel.

1. Deleting From Inside the App

If the app is installed on your phone, you can delete your account yourself:

1. Open Curcuna and sign in to your account.
2. Go to the Ayarlar (Settings) tab in the bottom menu.
3. Tap the Hesabı Sil (Delete Account) button at the bottom of the page.
4. Confirm the action in the dialog that appears.

Your account is closed immediately upon confirmation, and your record on our servers is permanently deleted shortly afterwards. This action cannot be undone.

2. If You Have Already Uninstalled the App

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. In that case you can submit your request by email:

1. Send an email to curcunapps@gmail.com.
2. Use Account Deletion Request as the subject line.
3. Send it from the email address of the Google or Apple account you used to sign in to Curcuna. This is how we verify your identity.

We complete such requests within 30 days at the latest and notify you once the deletion is done.

3. Data That Is Deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes all of the following:

• Your account details: your name, email address, and the link to your profile photo
• Your user account and session records at our authentication provider (Clerk)
• Your subscription status and expiry date
• Your usage statistics: every record of which game you played, when, and for how long

Your favourite games, theme preference, and the record of cards you have already seen are stored only on your phone; they are never sent to our servers and are removed from your device when you uninstall the app.

4. Data That Is Retained, and For How Long

The following records are kept for a period after account deletion, either because the law requires it or because they sit with our service providers under their own policies:

• Purchase and invoice records — 10 years. If you purchased a subscription, records of those transactions are held by the Apple App Store, Google Play, and our payment infrastructure provider (RevenueCat). Turkish Commercial Code and Tax Procedure Law require commercial books and documents to be retained for ten years, so these records cannot be deleted on request.
• Error and crash logs — up to 90 days. Technical records sent to our error monitoring provider (Sentry) when the app crashes are deleted automatically once the provider's retention period expires.
• Service provider backups — short term. Your record may remain in the routine backups of our database hosting provider (Neon) until the backup cycle completes. These backups exist solely for disaster recovery and are overwritten at the end of the cycle.

5. Before You Delete: A Copy of Your Data

You can download a copy of your data before deleting your account: in the app, go to Ayarlar > Gizlilik > Verilerimi İndir (Settings > Privacy > Download My Data). The export is provided as a ZIP file containing your profile details, subscription status, usage statistics, and on-device preferences. This data is no longer accessible after the account is deleted.

6. Your Subscription

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play. If you do not want your subscription to renew, cancel it in your store's subscription settings before deleting your account.
